Dunedin’s Batten receives second offer and Scarberry has a home

Dunedin Running back, Tramaine Batten is starting to hit his stride in the recruiting world.  The 2013 prospect has received his second verbal scholarship offer in as many days.  This time it’s UMASS who calls on the services of the 5-10/190 Falcon TB.  Batten shared time at RB last season but still led the Falcons in rushing, scoring 10 rushing TDs and 3 receiving touch downs, 119 rushes for 1194 yards on the ground and an additional 150 yards receiving.  He is also receiving  interest from:FAU and Boston College.

NC.   Scarberry was arguably the foundation of the Cowboy defense playing multiple position throughout the season and causing chaos for the opposing offenses.  Scarberry earned 1st team ALL BCP honors and led Hillsborough County in sacks. Many say he was a valuable leader and heart of Cowboy football. His 82 solo tackles, 14 sacks and 3 caused fumbles made him the foundation of a surging Gaither defense.
