PASCO COUNTY RECRUITING

Daquan Casear, Wildcat pack leader

Wesley Chapel will travel to Hudson this Friday to battle a team they have dominated since the opening of the the school. Wesley Chapel leads the All-Time series 8-3. They are 4-2 while playing at home and 4-1 when playing at Hudson.

Daquan Casear, Wesley Chapel 2013 RB could be the reason why Wesley Chapel will continue their success against the Cobras. This year Casear has been very good. Even special at times. He has carried the ball 78 times for 449 yards and averaging 5.76 per carry.  Those 5.76 yards per carry have led to 89.8 yards per game and  3 rushing TDs.

In a big win vs Wiregrass, Casear was just brilliant.  Rush for 178 yards on a rough 34 carries.  He scored 2 rushing TDs while averaging 5.24 yards per carry.  The Wildcats defeated the Bulls the first game of the season 30-6 with the legs of Daquan.

Casear and the Wildcats would struggle their next three games, loosing all three contest versus Zephyrhills, Fivay and Pasco High.  After rushing for 178 yards week one, Casear would be limited to just 78 yards the next three games.  His carries were limited to 28 touches and didn’t score on the ground.

He resurfaced on the 12th of October busting out for nearly 200 yards in a close win over Ridgewood.  In a 38-33 victory, Casear rushed for 193 yards, 16 carries, averaged an incredible 12.06 yards per carry and scored once on the ground.

Wesley Chapel is 2-4 and will need Daquan to be at his best to defeat county rival, Hudson who is 1-5 but building confidence under new head football coach, Mark Kantor.
