2 Is Spoto forreal? In 2009 head coach, Dale Caparaso fielded the most success Spartan team in the programs short history. Since then, they have gone 6-4, 6-4 and 3-7. This offseason and summer, Spoto has impressed. New additions, rumored size and obvious skill, are the Spartans for real?

3 Who thought it was a good idea to put the following teams in Class 6A-8 and who will survive? Armwood, Blake, Chamberlain, Hillsborough, Jefferson, King, Leto, Lennard and Robinson all in the same district. Recent history tells us, 4 teams have a legit shot at being playoff teams. Two will get left home. Who survives in this district?

4 Who is going to beat Pasco in the regular season? Easy question, does it have an easy answer? This year the district looks like this for Pasco:

add Fivay, Ridgewood, Wesley Chapel and Sunlake. Any one of those teams have a chance to burn Pasco?

5 Will it be a QB controversy at East Lake? Hudson or Swift taking snaps? Is Leston still in the mix? What will the QB situation look like at East Lake?

6 Who will emerge as the best QB in Polk County? Leverett (Bartow), Gaines (Frostproof), Congdon (Lake Gibson), Garrett (Lake Wales) or a player not listed?

7 Can Donavan Hale effectively replace former Largo QB, Juwan Brown? Brown led Largo to a 10-1 season, running and passing the ball with such efficiency, rivaling some of the best passers to play in the Tampa Bay Area.

8 Is Lakewood vs. Northeast now the hottest ticket in town on November 8th? Northeast lost a handful of kids to transfer to Lakewood. Only a few know the truth about why and who was involved, but this game may have a feel to it like no other.

9 Who will emerge as the best football player in our area? Will it be one we expect or a no name who becomes THE BIG NAME?
