BUCS MOVEMENTS: BUCCANEERS SIGN TWO, PLACE LB KENDELL BECKWITH ON ACTIVE/NFI LIST

Press Release

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that the team has signed defensive end Kiante Anderson and safety Josh Liddell and placed linebacker Kendell Beckwith on the active/non-football injury list. Players on the Active/NFI list still count on the team’s 90-man roster and can be activated at any time prior to the 53-player roster cuts.

Anderson (6-4, 250) played collegiately at East Carolina (2015-17), where he totaled 55 tackles (11.0 for loss), 5.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Prior to his time at East Carolina, the Greenville, North Carolina native played his first two collegiate seasons at Division II St. Augustine in Raleigh, North Carolina before transferring to the Pirates.

Liddell (6-1, 211) was originally signed by Tampa Bay as a college free agent out of Arkansas earlier this offseason, before being waived in May. The Pine Bluff, Arkansas native played in 50 games for the Razorbacks, recording 177 tackles, nine passes defensed, five interceptions and three forced fumbles. He was a three-time Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll selection (2015-17).
