ANTHONY WARE, KATHLEEN 2015 RB is a load. The workhorse runner for Kathleen who carries the mail for his team. At 5-11/200 lbs, Ware has the size and the speed to run over defenders and past them. Below, we breakdown Anthony’s ability as a running back.

INSIDE RUN

Ware does a great job with picking a hole and hitting it. You can see from the film that he is a very decisive runner, quick to the hole with good vision and anticipation. Has the ability to make linebackers miss in a small space.

PERIMETER RUNNING

B

Ware has good game speed at 200 pounds. He has the ability to get to the corner and take the angle away from the defense. If he gets to the corner, he can out run the defense for a big gain or score.

POWER

B

Breaks tackles often. When it seems like defenders have him wrapped up, he either breaks the tackle or carries the defender for additional yardage. He does an excellent producing on short yardage plays and rarely falls backwards. A good RB always falls forward!

ELUSIVENESS

C

Not a slasher or slippery runner. More of a straight ahead, power RB. He can make defenders miss, but would prefer to lower his shoulder or run past tacklers.

DURBILITY

A+

Very durable runner. Carried the ball a bunch of times last season and has picked up where he left off this season. Never changes his running style as the game grows long and rarely does he look winded or tired. He shows very good conditioning with the same explosion in the 4th quarter as in the 1st quarter.
