All Ears: Hernando Leopards Preaching ‘Pack’ Mentality

Brooksville, May 22, 2019- In today’s BCP program feature, we give you an updated break down of Hernando football’s current standing as a collective unit and the fairly new-found mentorship in second-year head coach Rob Kazmier, who I got a chance to speak with.

The first year coach had a winning standard to uphold upon his arrival, as the purple and gold Leopards were district champions as a 7-3 three-seed playoff team in 2017. This past 2018 season, coach Kazmier led Hernando to a 7-4 overall record as a wildcard five seed in his first year; ranked second-most in Points For (177) within their rough n’ tough Class 5A district seven standings among six other contenders (only his former program Nature Coast Tech tallied more Points For with 220).

Now, here is some first-hand audio insight from the coach himself for your listening pleasure; talking with me on his accumulated knowledge in this short timeframe as he’s climbed the coaching totem pole, and the buy-in he’s received from this program, as spring winds down in preparation for his second-season relationship with his squad.
