In the 1st Quarter the game started off really slow with both offensive units punting on their first drives. The Bucs mixed up the run and pass very well on their second series. With 4:22 left in the quarter, ATH Nelson Agholor streaks down the sideline for a 51-yard TD run giving the Bucs an early 7-0 lead in the 1st quarter.
The 2nd quarter is when Berkeley Prep opened up the game. After Lake Highland Prep is forced to punt, the Highlanders defense had Berkeley in a tough 3rd & 19 situation, but the Highlanders were called for pass interference giving the Bucs a 1st down. A couple of plays later with 8:18 left in the second, Agholor scores on a 8 yard TD run opening up the Bucs lead to 14-0. On the following kickoff, the Highlanders got a nice return by Ty Law into Berkeley’s territory. Highlanders put together a nice drive, RB Mike Dorcely busted a nice 21 yard run, but with 4:57 left in the 2nd, the Highlanders were in a 4th&1 situation and could not convert. On the next play Bucs QB connects with WR Reggie Barnes on 44 yard pass, but the drive was stopped forcing the Bucs to punt. On the ensuing punt, the ball hits a Lake Highland Prep player and the fumble is recovered by the Bucs Eric Massey. Two plays later, Agholor scores his third rushing TD of the game giving the Bucs a dominating 21-0 lead at halftime.
In the 3rd quarter, the Bucs put together a 12 play drive on their first series of the half, which was capped off by an 8 yard TD pass from Nichols to Hardegree extending the Bucs lead to 28-0 with 4:47 left in the 3rd.
The 4th quarter started with a 47 yard run by RB Chris Williams; freshman QB Brad Mayes scores from 2 yards out, finishing off a wonderful night as the 4-0 undefeated Bucs are victorious 35-0. HILITES HERE
