Brooks Dabartolo Collegiate High School 2015 G, Stefan Kitchen (6-3/170 lbs) is not a big name. But, a solid one. Played the majority of the 2012-13 season on Junior Varsity for disciplinary reason. He was a standout performer during the Fall Breakdown Hoops Showcase. He shows he can facilitate and score when needed. Good balanced game and very athletic.

What did you learn as a player last season?
SK: I learned on the offensive side, be patient and take what the defense gives you.

Do you feel you are a top Hillsborough County player this year and why?
SK: I feel if I play to my potential, that I can compete for the Hillsborough County Player of the Year Award.

How have you transformed your game during the AAU season?
SK: I’ve become a lot more aggressive. My mid-range and three point shot has gotten more consistent. My court vision has gotten extremely better and my ball-handling. But, I have a lot more time before the season to improve more.

Keep an eye open for this rising junior. If all goes as planned, he will be an All Area Player with recruiting attention waiting in the wings.
