Having played corner at a major university, the skills needed to succeed at the position are easy for me to identify. Some players have ability, but are late bloomers, where they don’t display a full skill set until later in their high school career.
This 2015, 6-3 defensive back shows range, leverage and aggressiveness. Very similar player to East Lake 2015 ATH, George Campbell. In the video linked below you will see him disengage from receivers, attack ball carriers and cover 10 yards in 3 steps. Amazing player for a sophomore.
