PINELLAS COUNTY RECRUITING

Largo Prospects Picking Up Steam

Brandon Drayton is the biggest name of the 2016 Largo recruiting class. He is steadily grabbing interest from D1 programs. The latest to show interest are Michigan and Nebraska. Right now schools he’s strongly considering are Iowa, Miami, Marshall, Louisville and Indiana. Brandon is in the process of setting up his official visit schedule. He is in no rush to orally committ. Most likely will make a decision once official visits are completed.

WR Dakarai Allen has no new interest as of now. He’s strongly considering North Dakota St, South Alabama, Western Illinois, and Liberty. He’s in the process of finalizing his visits for later in the season. Allen can play several different positions but likely will be recruited as a receiver prospect. Really good explosion and soft hands.

Back on the defensive side of the ball, CB Taj Taylor is receiving increased interest from Missouri. Expect Taylor to have a big year which will attract more college attention. DL Javaris Sanders has FAMU, Limestone, and Mercyhurst showing strong interest. He is one of the better defensive tackles in Pinellas County with great feet and excellent nose for the ball.
