The quick glance at the position groups for Xecutives continues as we highlight the wide receivers that will be in attendance at Southeastern University on Sunday. Like the offensive lineman, this group is chocked-full of upperclassmen along with two-thirds of the group comprised of Hillsborough and Pinellas County athletes. Aside from the four counties in the main coverage area, there’s representation from Citrus County as well. Two schools, Hillsborough and Zephyrhills Christian have also seen multiple players qualify at two each.
It’s a position group that can make the mundane look spectacular and the spectacular look routine when they’re dialed-in. All of these guys have shown during camps that the ball is theirs and nobody else should have access to it. Of course, we know that it’s just shirts and shorts and that the cornerbacks and safeties will have a few things to say regarding these ballers’ success rate, but this group easily has the potential to stop the entire show if they want.
It’s also a group of extremes when it comes to the body types as well. Hillsborough’s Ardarius Hall won the MVP at e7 Summer checking-in at 5-foot-2, 118-pounds while Countryside’s Kee Whetzel stands at fourteen inches taller and 82 pounds heavier with everyone else somewhere in-between.
