Strawberry Crest 2013 ATH, Karel Hamilton has committed to Samford after official visit this weekend. Hamilton is a 2012 1st Team All BCP WR selection. Made some of the most memorable catches of the year on his way to 948 yards, 10 TDs on 57 receptions.

Hamilton was one of the feel good stories of the football season. Arguably outplayed some of the bigger names receivers and helped Strawberry Crest compete in just about every game. He made some acrobatic receptions and was regarded as the top players on the field each game.

Lots of questions swirled this year in regards to Hamilton’s recruitment. How was he putting up big numbers and making big plays and no big schools were on his trail? However, the Bulldogs of Samford were and they will get a great player with a winning attitude in Hamilton.
