With Video: Sanchez gets his wish and Foley headed to Valpo

Northeast 2013 ATH, Auggie Sanchez received an offer from South Florida yesterday and it didn’t take long for Sanchez to commit. The 6-3/225lbs Viking committed to the South Florida Bulls minutes after receiving the offer.

Sanchez has been waiting on the Bulls to reach out to him to become part of their family and from his head coach, USF is his dream school. Via text, we wrote ” That’s what you wanted”. Sanchez responded “Yes, I’m going there as an H-back”. He has played various positions for the Vikings but has been getting recruited heavily by other colleges as a MLB.

He is a 1st Team All BCP 2012 selection at LB: Don’t really need stats to explain his production, but just for giggles: 66 solo tackles, 160 total tackles, 3.3 sacks and 2 INTs. Was on just about every interior play. Fearless D1 LB. Auggie had offers from Middle Tenn. State and South Alabama with strong interest from Duke.

Even though, on paper, Auggie will start the fall listed as an H-Back (FB/TE/WR), things could change when the pads go on. Here is a glimpse of what to expect from Sanchez as a Bull…

Jesuit DB Tim Foley said in an e-mail to the Big County Preps that he has committed to Valparaiso University.

“I loved the campus when I went for a visit two weeks ago and have been accepted to the D1 school and admitted to the business program where I intend to pursue a degree in International Business,” Foley said in the e-mail. – TBO.COM SEE FULL ARTICLE HERE
