All schools who play 11 man varsity football in Hillsborough and Pinellas County are considered for the Sweet 16 rankings. The rankings are based on a point system. Team receiving 1st place votes receives 31 points and the points drop by one for each ranking below. 5 BCP staff members place nominations and the computer rankings spit out the results.
