Junior running back Mark Walton delivered the best outing of his career in a 52-30 win over Toledo on Sept. 23, posting a career-best 204 yards on just 11 carries. Trailing 16-10 at halftime, the Hurricanes outscored a talented Rockets offense 42-14 in the second half to win their seventh straight game dating to October 2016.

Redshirt junior QB Malik Rosier had career-high totals in completions (27), attempts (36) and passing yards (333) and tied a career high in TD passes (3). Senior WR Braxton Berrios had a career-high 105 receiving yards on five receptions and 1 TD in the victory.
