The Polk County football season started with a bang. Two county powers collided and gave the fans their money worth. Big plays, big hits and lots of competitive juice. The fans, the coaches and the players were ready to see another jersey color and it showed. There was no love lost as the rivals barked at each other all game long. Overall, it was a pretty clean contest, Lake Gibson the victor this year.
