Travis Johnson headed north

With more than 30 verbal offers, Travis Johnson, Jesuit, 2013, WR knows that verbal offers really mean “we like you a lot”. With that in mind, Johnson is striving to continue to make good, solid impressions on college coaching staffs. He will be traveling to FSU Thursday to attend a day camp. So far, the Seminoles have not made him an offer but Coach Harrell is confident they will soon. After that, off to UInversity of Florida on Friday to attend Friday Night Lights, then back to Tampa Saturday and Sunday to attend USF’s Sling and Shoot 7 on 7 tournament with the rest of the Jesuit Tigers.

July 5-8th he traveled with Nelson Agholor’s AAU basketball team, SEBA Select, to Indiana and Kentucky. Although he didn’t tell BCP any specifics, his mother told us that he did come home with a Runner’s Up Award for Eddie Ford’s Kentucky Hoopfest “Seniors-To-Be Division” which proves he was playing up in the tournament. So far, the only college sending him mail for basketball is Virginia Tech, but he will be traveling with his regular AAU team, The Jacksonville Lee Bulls to Nationals July 26th-August 1st.
