TOP PICS OF TEAM ENTRANCES

Many teams have a tradition. Some switch it up with the times. Others go with how they feel.  Regardless, every team enters the field with their own style and attitude.

Going through some past images in our database, I found some really neat shots of team entrances prior to their Friday Night battles.  So, I decided to rank the images of the entrance, not the choreography of the entrance it’s self. Take a look and see if you agree.

1 HILLSBOROUGH

The Hillsborough Terriers take the top spot with this incredible picture.  Every detail is so crisp; The dirt flying from the surface, the faint red helmets deep in the smoke, the Top of the “H” Banner in the background and the raw facial expressions of the two lead players in front of the pack. The alternate black uniforms with the red helmet…set it off vs Plant in 2011!

2 JESUIT

The Blue Tide provide a “Blue Reason” for the Big Blue to come in at #2 with this picture.  The Tigers pull out all the stops on this clear night with the visiting Lakewood Spartans coming to town for a big district match up last season.  A few members of  The Blue Tide lead the rush with the body/face paint and the “Jesuit” embedded in the center of the chest. Excitement on their face as they lead the charge out the smoke with the team following behind.

3 LAKELAND

If you have ever attended a Lakeland home game, you know the Dreadnaught have an impressive venue and put on a show before the game. Versus Gaither is 2011, the Dreadnaught faithful dressed the entrance with and elaborate orange , black and white special made tunnel. Difficult to see the players inside the “Orange Cave”, but once the smoke thickened and the helmet car started to roll, the team stormed out as the crowed elevated and lights, bells and whistles lit up the stadium.

4 PLANT

The set up at Plant allows for the Panthers to have one of the best entrances at every home game.  Out from under the home stands, the Black and Gold surface through a thin layer of smoke and a championship banner. The cheerleaders posted on each side, alumni and fans crowd the stands as the home team flows on to the field ready to take on Dr. Phillips in 2011. Just another road block as Plant won the state title that year.

5 COUNTRYSIDE

The shot is pretty neat.  Countryside Cougars enter the field emerging from a bubble tunnel and through a thick body of smoke.  What makes this picture so hot, you can see the NIKE print on the inside of the gloves of the player in the center of the picture as he places his hands at the center point of cheerleader made banner. Dark skies cover the field and all that is seen is the team bursting on to the field prior to the East Lake game this year.

6 GAITHER

The chains, the American flag, the intense look on the face of the players, make this such a great picture.  Tampa Bay Tech came to Death Valley on this night and the importance of this game was evident.  Gaither enters the field through the Barn which is wooden shed that opens on both sides and sits at the fence of the East side of the stadium.  Head football coach, Jason Stokes leads the charge with a straight, focused, facial expression and his Cowboys directly behind mirroring his image.

7 DR. PHILLIPS

This picture just looks HOT! The Panthers of Dr. Phillips traveled Interstate 4 and landed at Plant High for a huge playoff game vs. the home team Plant Panthers. When looking at this image, one can feel the emotion of the team.  You can “some what”, gather the rhythm and the swag of the visiting team. Not intimidated by the environment at Dads Stadium, Dr. Phillips came with an attitude and will to compete on this night in 2011.
