Wildcats hire Head Football Coach

Tico Hernandez is named the Wesley Chapel Head Football Coach today. Ben Alford had stepped down after the Wildcats’s went 3-7 this season and 13-17 in his three years at the helm (includes 2 forfeits from Land O’ Lakes in 2010 and 2011)

At Wiregrass Ranch, Tico was an Offensive Coordinator and then a Special Teams Coach.  Wiregrass Ranch was 0-10 and after Head Coach Jeremy Shobe resigned, Offensive Coordinator Mike Lawrence will be promoted to head coach.  Tico was also a former Head Coach at Dr John Long Middle School.
