The Xecutives Shoutouts -LB’s

LAKELAND – It’s time to give you the shoutouts for the LB’s from Sunday The Executives at Southeastern University. Here are eight players that deserve a little extra love for their performances on the field during individuals and 7-on-7 drills.

Steven Ogletree, Plant City (5-11/223) -2017
Ogletree was one of those guys that was nearly impossible to block on Sunday. His spin move is already one of the more lethal parts of his skill set, so it’s just a matter of time before colleges are clamoring for this young man.

Thomas Roman, Countryside (5-10/208) -2016
Roman has been a beast for the Cougars in the spring and the offseason and has worked fantastically at BCP camps as well. Great size at the position and very much like the next two young men that follow on this list.

Tyler Mirabella, Steinbrenner (6-0/210) -2016
Tireless worker and a perfect example of a football player. Dude just gets it. Mirabella’s constantly in a position to make plays with his instincts and his quick feet and burst.

Patrick Lukert, Steinbrenner (6-1/208) -2016
Just like Mirabella, Lukert is almost always in the right position to make a play. Great size and motor to add to an impressive set of instincts as well.

Shane Evins, East Bay (5-11/212) -2016
Two camps in a row that he has balled-out. Evins has shown flashes of being a pretty good pass rusher as well.

Kadarius Verneuil, Ridge Community (6-0/175) -2017
This kid is long in the frame and shows that he’s got some talent to play the position once things slow down a little.
Once the light comes on, this young man should have several suitors from the next-level.

Armand Chalk, Hillsborough (5-9/216) -2017
Chalk put finishing moves on the RB’s all day and was drawing the attention of Derrick Brooks even when it came to 1-v-1’s.

Deondre Pride, Victory Christian (6-2/220) -2016
Pride really impressed with his pass rushing abilities and has a nearly perfect frame to play the position.

AJ Deshazor, Lake Gibson (6-0/177) -2017
Going to be a high-profile OLB, but was also getting put through the paces at a new position for him which is safety this past Sunday. Deshazor is a highly-valued talent and will be a beast for the Braves this fall for sure.
