Let’s pretend there was no such thing as college football. No college scouts are attending practice and no media was publishing interest of offers. All we have are players who will top out as high school players and be remembered for their contributions on the field. Not their potential or number of scholarship offers. Just good to great high school running backs. A RB prospect ranking would differ.

That’s the umbrella for the list below. The criteria could get quite extensive. However for time and argument sake, let’s keep it as simple as possible
– inside running
– outside running
– ability to carry tacklers
– balance and vision
– good in the open field. Good elusiveness
– can grind out tough yards and solidify first downs
– home run ability
– blocks well in pass protection
– some kind of a threat in the passing game

NOW SOME NAMES THAT MAY NOT BE LISTED, WE HAVE THEM LISTED AS ATH/OW OR PRIMARY DEFENSIVE PLAYER. (Ex: Devan Barrett, CJ Cotman, Jessie Britt). Other players we do not have enough of a sample size for an evaluation (Ex: Brian Snead, Eric Collins).
