Known for his speed and quickness, Darion Staten has grown in popularity since his 2013 campaign. Standing now at 5-11/160 pounds, the 2015 Lake Wales corner is arguably the best in Polk County at his position. Staten currently holds offers from Florida International and Florida Atlantic. Both offers came early in the spring and prompted the attention of some larger football programs.

Staten is a BCP E7 Training Camp standout and Xecutives invitee. The attention has not just come from BCP, but from Michigan State, Auburn and Florida. Staten visited or camped at all three schools listed and has seen increased attention since the spring.

Darion has played Wide receiver, Corner, Punt returner and Kick returner. All positions where he shines because his speed is on display. He hopes to eventually be recruited by Florida State (Dream School), Florida, LSU, Auburn and Ohio State. The 3 sport athlete (Football, Track and Basketball) wants to play college football and is open to all schools right now. But if he had his pick, ACC, BIG 10 and SEC would be conferences of choice.
