After winning the state championship in the triple jump with a leap of 50ft 3.5 inches, Hillsborough ATH, Jeremiah Green took his show on the road. Actually on the road, over the water and on land again.

The 2013 football and track prospect was invited to compete in the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational to represent the United States held in Puerto Rico. And represent he did.

Green and coaching staff departed Tuesday traveling to Puerto Rico for the prestigious event. Green jumped 49’2″ on his first jump which proved to be enough to win the competition. “It feels good to win.  I put a lot of work into this,” said Green.  The International Champ was awarded a medal and Nike exclusive jumpsuit, “I’m going to be the only person in Hillsborough County with this jumpsuit.  You can’t buy this in the store [laughing],” Green expressed in excitement.

The Champ has also invited to take his talents to the New Balance Championship in North Carolina.
