Highlighted below are the Hillsborough and Pinellas county football teams which increased their regular season win totals by 2 or more victories in 2011 compared to 2010.

In the 2011, both Gaither (7-3) and Seffner Christian (6-4) increased their regular season victory totals by 4 games. Gaither also went on to win 2 playoff games against Durant and TBT to end up with a 9-4 overall record.

Steinbrenner increased their varsity wins totals by 7 victories over the last two seasons; after going 0-6 in 2009 their first year then rebounding with 5-5 and 7-3 records in 2010 and 2011. The Warriors Defense significantly reduced their points allowed per game over last 2 seasons going from 2009 (44.8 pts/gm) to 2010 (21.9 pts/gm) to 2011 (12.9 pts/gm).
Note: Seffner Christian first season was 2010 so did not have increase in wins during 2010 season.
