Tampa Catholic will be participating in the NFL High School Player Development National 7on7 Tournament which they will be representing the Tampa Bay Bucs, earning d the right to play for the national title by advancing through a series of tournaments over a two week period.

Tampa Catholic’s road to Cleveland

-Defeated King 31-21 in the championship game at the regional tournament in Cape Coral on Saturday the 25th to reach nationals.
-Also defeated Ida Baker HS, Evangelical Christian, Chamberlain, and King in pool play.
-Defeated Evangelical in the semi finals to play King again in the finals. (Finished 6-0 for the day).

Tampa Catholic will depart Thursday morning (7th) and return on Sunday morning (10th). The Crusaders will be playing in a division with the Bears, Panthers, and Falcons called NFC 2. They will play all of their pool games at the Cleveland Browns’ practice facility on Friday the 8th and Saturday morning the 9th. The semifinals and finals will be played in Cleveland Browns’ Home Stadium on Saturday afternoon.  The trip will also include a visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH on Friday night.  The NFL is paying for the trip.
