The Unsigned Preps 2nd Annual Road to Signing Day Bus Tour is 3/4 completed and the Tampa Bay Area athletes who attended, have not dissapointed!
From the 2013 class, Richard Benjamin (Tampa Bay Tech) worked like a kid who didn’t have one single offer and was very impressive. The biggest surprise of the tour thus far has been Middleton defensive end, Jeronte Norton. Coaches have raved about his speed and ability to pick up instruction fast. Norton has been simply untouchable and even caught the eye of Clemson head coach, Dabo Sweeney during one on ones.
The defensive lineman took over every drill and dominated one on ones. Bruce Hector (Robinson), Joey Ivie (Pasco), Tony Guerad (Tampa Bay Tech) and Jevon Fripp (Tampa Bay Tech) put on a clinic and left each camp with very high praise.
Also from the 2013 class, Countryside offensive lineman, Brandon Pertile has been impressive and has also received an offer from Appalachian State after watching him during one on ones at the Clemson camp. Boca Ciega’s ATH, Caleb McCollough, DB Damarious Brinson, Blake RB Deandre James, Tampa Catholic WR Zach Benjamin, have also performed well.
From the 2014 and 2015 class, the young studs who put themsevles on the recruiting map… LB Josh Black and ATH Ray Mccloud of Sickles, Tyree St. Louis OT Tampa Bay Tech, Chris Atkins RB Durant and Donzel Polite ATH Tampa Bay Tech
