Taking a Look at new Football Teams in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties in the Last 25 Years
There have been 22 new high school football teams started in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties in the last 25 years. Let’s take a look at each school’s first 5 years, their overall records and playoff records.
Because there was a significant difference in the winning percentages in the first 5 years of larger classification public high school new football teams (36.9%) compared to smaller classification private high school new football teams (47.6%), I separated the data for public and private new football teams in two groups below for comparison.
