Here are the initial BCP Sweet 16 rankings. Rankings will be released each Monday morning of the regular season. All schools who play 11 man varsity football in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas County are considered for the Sweet 16 rankings.
1 Armwood – very fast on defense and young players who have filled vacant position. Still have the best player in the area, Alvin Bailey.

2 Plant – a few defensive question marks after losing so much to graduation. New QB, Aaron Banks will be very good and Wesley Bullock is back as the primary offensive threat.

3 Jesuit – upgrade to the defense and one of the biggest offensive lines in the area. Questions about the new QB and if Travis Johnson will get the ball consistently. Kevin Newman has a chance to be a real impact.

4 Countryside – a big offensive line and improving playmaker at quarterback, Christian Strong will be the surprise of the year. Mike Love and Mike Johnson are one of the best rush/cover duos in the area.
