Update from Sunlake

Guys are continuing to get mail from multiple schools but nothing more concrete. Seahawks have a kicker, Conner Gilboy, that was talked into coming out from the soccer team that has been doing very well. Attended the University of Florida’s kicking camp and finished 2nd out of 72. He’s now in regular contact with their staff. The big plus on him is academics; 4.4 GPA and 27 ACT.

Eddie Burgos (5-11/180lbs) is one of the Seahawks’ top rising seniors and has what it takes to be a solid prospect. He isn’t getting much attention right now. As a junior, Burgos performed well, lining up against Kent Taylor (UF), Chris Bivins (USF), Chris Thompson (committed UF) and PJ Williams (FSU). Burgos plays multiple position for the Sunlake. He is primarily a corner on defense and will play both RB and slot receiver on offense. Has visited Stony Brook and Florida International and is receiving the most interest from Coastal Carolina, Stony Brook, Ball State, Georgia Southern, FIU and FAU.

As a junior, he recorded 22 receptions for 369 yards and 5 TDS; 37 tackles, 1 INT and 10 PBUs. Burgos is primed for another solid season.
