Spring Tour Notes

We open up our Spring Tour Notebook to you to provide some insight of how some of your favorite teams may look in the fall and start generating some excitement before the dry, but short summer months hit.

Even more dangerous this season. Traditionally have been known to have a stable of running backs. However, the Hawks depth at wide receiver will be a strength. Ezeriah Anderson, Armwood, 2019, WR could have a big year.

Fun to watch on offense. Will be very aggressive. Enough athletes to cause some problems. The defensive front four will be interesting. Surely the strength of the defense.

Once the Eagles get bigger on the offensive line, everything will come together. Spread offense, Coach Anderson is going to throw it around the yard.

Good things going on a Chamberlain. The progression under Coach Lane is evident. Chamberlain’s defensive front four led by Hakem Ricketts, Chamberlain, 2018, DL will be their strength.

Cougars are always sound. But don’t get enough credit for how detailedΒ and balanced their offense is. Nice size offensive line, Cameron Myers, Durant, 2018 will thrive with a secret weapon at fullback.

Such good coaching going on at The Bay. The kids looked good. But the quality of the coaching was really really good. Frank LaRosa has continued the tradition of a quality program at East Bay.

Not sure any school does more with less. Numbers (quantity of players) are consistently an issue at small classification Fort Meade. But The Miners get it done with a creative practice and dedicated players. Anfernee Clark, Fort Meade, 2018, SLOT could have a big year on both sides of the ball.

Dywonski McWilliams, George Jenkins, 2019, DTQB could be the least talked about weapon in Polk County. May open eyes this season though.

A team full of athletes. The addition of Tyrese Spain, 2018, ATH – O gives the Terriers yet another weapon. Break out year for Tyler Thomas, Hillsborough, 2019, DTQB.

It’s a given that Larry Hodges and Kendrick Torain will have a good season. But the Tigers could have a trio of tight ends that will give teams fits. Jonathan Odom, Jesuit might be a problem this year for defenses.
