Spring 2015 Game Preview: Out-of-Door Academy at Northside Christian

Sarasota Out-of-Door Academy (2-8)* at Northside Christian (8-3)*
* – denotes 2014 record

Much like Countryside, Northside Christian’s objective will be to make sure their studs get their reps and for those players to stay as healthy as possible as they try to keep the momentum going from last season. The Mustangs, are coached by Mike Alstott, who just recently was named as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next inductee along with Doug Williams into their Ring of Honor. His son Griffin, is about to blow-up on the recruiting trail if he can continue to put up the numbers he posted last season along with RB Josh Snead and a pair of stud of o-lineman in Tyler Knight and Dillon Gibbons.

The visitors from Sarasota have had a tough go of it lately, having won just three games the past two seasons, but do have the benefit of returning everyone from their roster last season. Many of those players were just freshman last season, so growing pains could still be on the plate for the Thunder, but it also doesn’t mean the Mustangs can take them lightly either. Northside Christian will look to establish their dominance and early in this game. They have to get used to finishing games this season as Admiral Farragut and Indian Rocks Christian await them in their district and it will be imperative they use their quick strike ability to start fast in games. If they can do so with consistency, this is a team that could really throw things into chaos for some squads on their schedule in district and out if it as well.
