2010 Record: 6-5

2011 District: Class 7A – 8
East Bay
Plant City

Short Capsule: Plenty of attention has been caste upon the Plant City Raider football team. How the team handles this attention will determine the success of the program. Lead by 3 year starter, Dazmond Patterson and redefined quarterback Bennie Coney, Plant City feels that they have the tools to play for a state title. Teamwork and selflessness is what has been stressed to the members of the Raider team. Many players are division 1 football prospects and will need to play great as individuals in order for the team to accomplish their goals. Coach Wayne Ward is confident that his staff will have the Raiders prepared for each and every contest, but it will be up to the players to execute and show that all the lime light is not shining on the wrong place.
