Pugh’s View: It would not be wise to ignore the Cougars and how good they potentially be this season. They may have graduated their starting QB in Smith, but all is not lost by any means. There’s beef on both sides of the lines, and the leading WR and RB are only going to be juniors in the fall. Scary thought. Could be a pretty magical season out in Eastern Hillsborough County. Their district should be a wild ride. Better show up.

Must Have: It’s pretty simple. Durant is going to have to beat either Newsome or Plant City for the chance to play beyond 10 weeks. There’s no major breakdown needed. Their schedule sets up really nice for them to be in contention when they travel to Newsome on October 21st.

Uh-Oh: If there are any injuries at the QB, RB, or OL how big of an impact will they make? Who can step in?
A loss to rivals Plant City wouldn’t leave a very good taste in their mouths either I would assume.
