Short Capsule: The last two seasons (2007 and 2008) under the Billy Turner, Chamberlain had a combined record of 20-6. The last two seasons (2009 and 2010) under Joe Severino, the Chiefs were 3-17. Chamberlain needs a “shot in the arm” NOW! 4 of Chamberlains 8 loses last season were by 7 points of less. The Chiefs have plans on bringing back the glory and planting the spear, but attitude and hard work can not be sacrificed. The defense will be the strength of the team early as the offense has lost some key players at key positions. Both Xavier Johnson and Tevin Ordonez return in the secondary with Marcus Stewart upfront on the defensive line. If the Chiefs offense can match the play of the defense early in the season, Chamberlain will have some success.
“Saying Goodbye” (graduation or transfer):
Thaddeus Baxley, QB
Blake Bell, RB
William Whiteside, TE
Reshay Hubbard, LB
Derek Venegas, OL/DL
“Hello Again” (key returners or potential Impact Players):

Marcus Stewart, DE
Kendrick Green, DL/OL
Tevin Ordonez, CB
“Must Have”:
• Killer instinct to win close games
• Definition on offense
• Big Plays
“Uh-oh”: Simply put, the Chamberlain Chiefs cannot afford to have another losing season.
