RECRUITING

Rodney Adams receives in-state offer

Rodney Adams, who committed to the University of Florida back in February, de-committed from the Gators following the departure of wide receivers coach Aubrey Hill on Aug. 3, has received a verbal offer from Central Florida.

Originally, Central Florida was hard on the trail of Armwood’s, Alvin Bailey and Tampa Bay Tech’s, Richard Benjamin, since Adams was a UF commit. Now that Bailey is committed to the Gators and Benjamin decommitted from Central Florida, the Knights are wanting to solidify a playmaker in the 2013 class.

Adams is the 9th best player in the Tampa Bay Area. One spot ahead of Richard Benjamin and one spot behind East Lake’s Artavis Scott.

DECOMMITTED from FLORIDA, offers: South Florida, Florida State, Miami, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Toledo, San Diego State

UCF also offered Tampa Bay Tech DL, Antonio Guerad today.
