Rodney Adams, who committed to the University of Florida back in February, de-committed from the Gators following the departure of wide receivers coach Aubrey Hill on Aug. 3, has received a verbal offer from Central Florida.
Originally, Central Florida was hard on the trail of Armwood’s, Alvin Bailey and Tampa Bay Tech’s, Richard Benjamin, since Adams was a UF commit. Now that Bailey is committed to the Gators and Benjamin decommitted from Central Florida, the Knights are wanting to solidify a playmaker in the 2013 class.
Adams is the 9th best player in the Tampa Bay Area. One spot ahead of Richard Benjamin and one spot behind East Lake’s Artavis Scott.
