Richard Benjamin announced today that he will visit the University of Miami this weekend. Benjamin, who holds offers over 20 offers, is currently ranked as the 10th best overall player in Tampa Bay.

Also, in a story broke by BCP yesterday, sources have confirmed that Benjamin will be transferring to Tampa Bay Tech and will attend classes on Wednesday at the start of the new semester.

The Hurricanes have had a lot of recent success in pulling in Tampa Bay Talent. In 2010 Miami landed RB Maurice Hagens from Tampa Bay Tech. Last year they snagged DL Anthony Chickillo from Alonso.

Miami currently has four Tampa Bay seniors verbally committed: DE Tyriq McCord from Jefferson, DT Earl Moore from Hillsborough, S Rayshawn Jenkins from Admiral Farragut, and QB Gray Crow from Countryside.
