Will: Do you have to fill anything out to be recruited?

BCP: No. Not initially. Once a school knows the name of a prospect and somewhat aware of a prospects talent, they will send a questionnaire via the high school head coach.

Anthony: This is my sons first year in high school was on junior varsity now on varsity what steps can we take for him to get him more exposure for the future and to get in more football camps to perfect his skills as he moves up in high school?

BCP: Do your homework on all of the following
– Get him to a few GOOD showcases
– Get him to a few GOOD college camps over the summer. Recommended not to start off with the BIG ONES with hundreds of kids. Hit some good 1AA and D2 camps.
– Get in great shape and love the weight room during the offseason. High school coaches promote those kids who FIRST show accountability and dependability to help their team.

Jim: Any prospects from Santa Fe Catholic Football Team?

BCP: I don’t know of any major D1 prospects at that school at this time. Believe

Daniel: I have been talking to a college coach for a while now and he wants me to visit. At this point how do I go upon getting offered a scholarship from them?

BCP: You don’t. They will offer a prospect when they get ready. Nothing a prospect can do to force the issue.

Gil: It’s been a while since the recruiting mailbag (questions/answers) has appeared on BCP; are you still answering questions?

BCP: Yes.
