When evaluating a defensive lineman, take-off jumps off the screen the fastest. The speed or lack there of…the jump a player gets on the snap becomes a clear advantage. Even though Lakeland athlete Branson Brown does some other good stuff on film, his take-off is the most impressive. Shows explosion, anticipation, quickness and leads to disruption.
