Rodney Mitchell – 2019 WR – Wildwood High School

Quick Evaluation: Head Coach McKinley Rolle knew what he was doing at Wildwood. In his first season at the Sumter County 1A program, the Wildcats improved from a 2016 record of 0-10 to 9-1 this fall. One of the guys Rolle inherited and leaned on to make plays was Rodney Mitchell. The 5’10” 170 pound 2019 WR and return specialist displays strong ball skills and vision. Once he has the ball in his hands, his agility and elusiveness make him very difficult for defenders to tackle. He included some film at CB on his highlight and shows good capability there as well. He isn’t afraid to be physical as a blocker or a tackler. Rodney should give recruiters a reason to swing by Wildwood this spring. Check out his Junior season film below!
