Jesuit senior running back Malik Davis, who recently eclipsed the Hillsborough County career rushing record of 5765 held by Clemson WR Ray-Ray McCloud III (Sickles HS) committed to the Florida Gators this morning.

Florida slightly recruited Davis during the process, but turned up the heat recently with an offer a few days ago when a running back scholarship opened up for the 2017 class. This morning Davis committed to his childhood dream school.

Currently Davis has a career total of 5787 rushing yards and 67 rushing TD. 1227 rushing yards after 7 games this season.
