McBride is a massive athlete with good hands and solid footwork. Wants to improve on his Pad level speed and leverage at the line of scrimmage. Much of the recruiting attention is on East Lake’s 2014 OT, Mason Cole; Tampa Catholic’s, Corey Martinez and SPC, Reilly Gibbons. McBride fits into that same category.
The 300 pounder says he has learned a lot for big time Plant City prospects, Bennie Coney and Devyn Salmon. He says that those two have taught him not to rush to process. It could take some time to get noticed. But be ready when it happens.
During the summer months, McBride worked on getting faster and stronger. He will be a name to be remembered and will blow up fast.
