3 Games of High Importances

1) Indian Rocks at Carrollowood Day – District game between the 2A-5 District Winner & Runner-Up from 2013 and this game will probably determine District winner in 2014. IRC has a chance to go back to the state semi-finals and they have a number of prospects including Damian King, Theo Anderson, Jacquan Fuller and Sam Veltman

2) Largo at East Lake – Non-District game but will probably determine the best team in Pinellas County in 2014. Largo’s first year head football coach, Marcus Paschal is undefeated at 1-0 while East Lake’s Bob Hudson has 14 wins in the last two seasons. Prospect heavy game with lots of bragging rights on the line.

3) River Ridge at Sunlake – Non-District game but will probably help determine the best team in Pasco County in 2014.  Since River Ridge beat Land O’Lakes and Sunlake beat Pasco, Zephyrhills will have something to say about this later. Key game that will boast two running backs with a chance to lead the county in rushing.

Can They Have a Repeat Performance?

Dante Satcher, Countryside 2015 RB – rushed for a county high 263 yards on 22 attempts and 2 big rushing TDS vs Lakewood.

Corey Bennett, Blake 2015 RB – sleeper RB in Hillsborough County opened the season with a 227 yard performance and showing durability with 36 carries (1 TD).

Jordan Williams, Dunedin 2015 RB – plays multiple positions for the Falcons. Last week, time spent at RB paid off as his 212 yard rushing performance help catapult the Falcons to a win.

Chris Schwarz, River Ridge 2016 RB – in an upset win versus Pasco County power, Land O’Lakes, Chris rushed 28 times for 192 yards.
