QB/WR connection: Tampa Bay is at the top across the State

ACCORDING TO MAXPREPS, several Tampa Bay prospects are at the top of the list in receiving yards in the state of Florida. Brad Hyman-Muhammad, Jon Moore, Karel Hamilton, Alvin Bailey and Keith Harrington all have produced such impressive numbers thus far, that it has forced BCP to highlight them.

Brad Hyman-Muhammad, Admiral Farragut started the season ranked as our #10 CB tied with Robinson’s Carlos Duclos. But this year, Brad has proven to be more than an good defensive player, but a great ATHLETE. Currently, Muhammad is #2 in the state in receiving yards as he has grabbed 37 balls and 753 yards. STATS: 7 GP, 37 REC, 753 yards, 20.35 Y/C, 107 Y/G and 9 TDs.

Someone has to be throwing him all these passes. Colby Robinson, Admiral Farragut QB has had a stellar season. He has completed .59 % of his passes (66/112) for 1093 yards. Has averaged 156 yards per game, 15 TDs and just 4INTs.

Jon Moore, Jefferson WR is #3 in the state of Florida in receiving yards. Before he lit up the state with his stats, he killed the summer circuit.  So impressive that he jumped into our top 10 slot receiver ranking at #4. This fall, he has done nothing but prove us right. So far he is averaging an incredible 118 yards per game. That’s with playing against Hillsborough and Armwood, two of the better defenses in Hillsborough County. To add to that, he has 39 total receptions, 708 yards, 8 receiving TDs and averaging 18.15 Y/C.

Someone has to be throwing him all these passes. It’s hard to follow ex-Jefferson state championship QB, Quentin Williams. However, AGAIN Deiondre Porter has made him proud. For the second year in a row, Porter is on pace to hit the 2000 yard passing mark as a junior. He is our #4 ranked Dual Threat QB and ranks 5th in the state of Florida in passing yards. Stats: 6 GP, 98/162 .61 comp %, 1408 pass yards, 234 Y/G, 9 TDs and 6 INTs

Karel Hamilton, Strawberry Crest is #4 in the state of Florida with 701 receiving yards. 39 catches, averaging 116 yards per game and 8 TDs in 6 games. What else can be said about our #7 ranked wide receiver? He keeps doing it over and over again, for a program that is building more and more confidence each week.

Someone has to be throwing him all these passes. Tristan Hyde, Strawberry Crest QB, who would have thought that this young man would be second in the state of Florida with 1657 passing yards? Not the biggest, strongest, fastest or most talented. Just a player who wants to be better every practice and every game. Stats: 6 GP, 120/214, .56 comp %, 1657 pass yards, 276 Y/G. 14 TDs and 10 INTs
