5-10 is the average size of a corner at any level. 6-0 and up is a blessing. But finding a corning that is 6-3, can run, flip his hips and make plays is rare. Dedric Brinson, Lake Wales 2014 CB is one of those rare talents.

This season he had 6 interceptions, 42 tackles, 4 pass break ups, 1 force fumble, 185 receiving yards, 8 receptions and one touchdown. He is a very athletic and unselfish player, “I love blocking for my running backs,” says Brinson.

Most impressive is his ability to change direction and footwork. Many times, a player of his size gets moved to safety or outside line backer. However, because this prospect can flip his hips, has great footwork and shows plenty of range, he makes for an attractive college prospect.

Right now, Brinson is not getting much recruiting attention. All that should change in a matter of weeks when college coaches see the film below. Take a look.
