Plant to get noteable transfer from Armwood

Some administrative “things” still need to be done, but if all goes well, Armwood assistant defensive back coach, Sean Fisher, will join the football staff at Plant.

Fisher was an important part of the success and performance of the Armwood secondary who has been led by Darryl Palmer for the last 8 years, but Fisher’s heart is in coaching QBs.  Fisher played QB at division 3 Mt. Union, winning back to back National Championships in ’05 and ’06 and posting an overall 56-3 record. Fisher lives just miles from the Plant campus and after a few conversations, Fisher said the Plant head coach Robert Weiner welcomed him on the staff, but still needs to sit down with the Plant administration to make sure everything is done correctly.

Fisher will assist coach Weiner with the QBs and take a primary role in developing the younger quarterbacks while having a hand in coaching the Plant JV team.
