Linked below is one page of the 19 pages of the final letter sent to Plant High School regarding the boys basketball team. It states that 50% of the fine is being held in abeyance. As long as Plant is not found in violation of any more rules in the next year, that 50% of the fine will not have to be paid. It also mentions that the eligibility of the student-athlete will be addressed in a separate communication. That just means the FHSAA will look into the student if an eligibility ruling is submitted to the FHSAA at any point in time in the future. That will have no bearing on Plant High School and will be solely between the student, the family and the new school the student enrolls in.
