The Raiders had a good run at the Mel Kiper 7 on 7 National Tournament. Plant City started off 2-0 in the double elimination tournament today before losing to Calvert (Maryland) which dropped them to the losers bracket. Then losing to Warrick (New York) which eliminated them from the tourney. The Warrick game was not without drama. There was a discrepancy with the officiating causing a 30 minute deliberation with the event officials. Warrick head coach admitted that the officiating got them the win. No adjustment was made and PC was eliminated, taking 8th place in the National Tourney.
