Pinellas Park: No excuses! Looking forward

How does Pinellas Park improve on their 2011 season, where the Patriots ended 7-4 and district runner-up; making the playoffs for the first time since 2001 and their best season since 2003? Easy answer, WORK!

Head football coach, Ken Crawford is a fire cracker and expects his team to pop the way he does. Jemeri Powell and Iman Smith have departed due to graduation and will advance to play collegiate football. Both players were a big part of the success of the Patriots on both sides of the ball. However Crawford is excited about what he has returning.

Tahrealle Mosley and Jaquan Clark will handle much of the rushing duties for the Pats. Mosley is a shifty, real shift RB who is able to make defenders miss in the hole. Clark was a defensive specialist last season as an outside backer and will take lots of offensive snaps this year as more of a bruising running back.

Eric Hampton is still pretty underrated as an offensive tackle. He will anchor an offensive line that is expected to be pretty good for the Patriots.

One of the area’s top TEs, Tyree Graves is back for his senior year. Graves is super athletic and aggressive. Provides Pinellas Park with a big receiving target and pass rusher on defense.
