BAY AREA BITES PINELLAS COUNTY RECRUITING

Pete Dinovo Opening Eyes

East Lake's, Pete Dinovo, class 2013

While most college coaches normally focus on rising senior football prospects, they also want to have a good feel for the top underclassmen prospects.  For this reason, many college programs show interest to sophomores and freshmen if they are good enough.  In today’s aggressive recruiting process, many sophomores are receiving verbal scholarship offers. East Lake’s QB, Pete Dinovo, is one of the 2013 prospects who does not have a verbal scholarship offer, but plenty of big time programs are showing strong interest.

Duke, UNC, USF and Purdue are a few of those programs who Dinovo says have been consistent in their strong efforts of showing  how  much they like Dinovo’s skills.  Dinovo is currently ranked as the 2nd best QB prospect in the BCP Spring 49 lsit, after having a stellar 2010 season and great showings at various showcases including the BCP Ignite Combine.
