Host Boca Ciega defeated Pinellas Park 20-0 behind Don Jenkins 138 yards rushing and 45 yard TD.

Host East Bay beat St.Pete Catholic 26-20. Dean Hughes ran a 6 yard TD in overtime for the Indians.

Countryside went on the road to defeat Interlachen 12-6 for their first win in school history. Vernon Bolden hit Mike Sakal with a 6yard TD pass.

At Lakewood, the Spartans defeated St.Pete High 7-6 after the Green Devils missed an Extra Point with 6:32 remaining.

Gulf snapped a 23 game losing skid with a 7-6 win over Zephyrhills in the first game ever played at Bulldog Stadium. A first Quarter 3 yard run by Dee Quiver and the Point after by Kevin Van DeVusse paced the Bucs.

Dunedin went to Clearwater to beat the Tornados 8-7 for the first win in the series after 16 losses. A safety and a 6 yard Craig Hemond to Ward Hemond TD pass was all the scoring the Falcons needed.

Host Seminole defeated Dixie Hollins 13-0 behind Scott Mersons 220 yards on 14 carries including an 86 yard TD.
